The 6 Word Story contest is free to enter and runs from November 1 - November 30th. There are 2 age categories: Tween (9-12) and Teen (13 - 17).
Participants can submit up to 3 stories. Each story must be exactly six words. No more than 1 contraction (example: can't, won't) per story. This is a great challenge to think outside the box and be creative!
Submissions will be judged on creativity, ingenuity, spelling, punctuation and grammar. Stories with inappropriate language or explicit content will be disqualified.
There is a Grand Prize and 2 Honorable Mention prizes for each age group. Prizes will be awarded in early December and must be picked up at your local library branch.
Submissions are accepted through Tuesday, November 30th. Winners will be posted on social media with first name only.
